First thing’s first: some background
For the last 8 months or so, I’ve been designing and building a coffee shop, coffee roastery, and production space (that people will be able to rent out soon) in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and, finally, we’re officially open.
I plan to do a full tour on YouTube so I won’t go into too much here (you can subscribe there if you want to see that but I’ll also probably send another newsletter when that’s live, as well) but here are some quick photos of the space :)

Now, I will also be roasting in this back room soon but as we’re waiting for approval right now from the Department of Agriculture (coffee is a crop after all), I have partnered with another local Brooklyn coffee roaster to make a limited blend called Founders Blend. It’s a medium lighter roast that we serve in the cafe as our main drip coffee and it also works as a funkier tart espresso option, too.

What this newsletter will be
In addition to sending the YouTube tour through here once that’s ready, I plan to write here once a month (for now) on everything going on with ☕️✅. From new single-origin coffee we’ve sourced and roasted, to new coffee tech the team and I have fallen in love with, to educational classes (and videos for those who aren’t local) and more. So stay tuned for that.
Thank you so much for subscribing and for your support. This has already been a lot of work and sleepless nights, but I’m so excited and grateful for being able to fulfill a dream of mine I never thought I’d be able to even attempt. I can’t wait to share some amazing coffees, education, and stories from some amazing people who help us all enjoy a cup of coffee.
